Terms and Conditions

 

  1. Parties

 

This agreement is between London Electric Centre (referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”) and the driver renting the vehicle (referred to as “you”, “your”). 

 

  1. Vehicle Use

 

2.1 You agree to drive carefully and responsibly at all times, adhering to all applicable road laws and regulations. Dangerous or reckless driving is prohibited. 

 

2.2 You must hold a valid UK or EU driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. Provisional licenses are not permitted.

 

2.3 Only you are authorized to drive the rental vehicle. Additional drivers require our prior written approval and an additional fee. 

 

2.4 The vehicle cannot be used for racing, off-roading, speed testing, towing, driving instruction, or any illegal or dangerous use.

 

2.5 We reserve the right to terminate the rental and repossess the vehicle if we reasonably believe it is being misused or mishandled. 

 

  1. Condition & Maintenance

 

3.1 You agree to return the vehicle in the same condition as rented, aside from ordinary wear and tear. 

 

3.2 All warning lights, damage, or mechanical issues must be reported to us immediately. 

 

3.3 Only manufacturer approved fuel can be used. Any damage from incorrect fuel is your responsibility.

 

3.4 Smoking in the vehicle is prohibited. Additional cleaning fees will apply if evidence of smoking is found. 

 

3.5 Vehicle modifications of any kind are prohibited.  

 

  1. Insurance, Damage & Liability

 

4.1 Limited insurance coverage is provided as part of the standard rental, subject to deductibles. You are responsible for any damage that falls outside the policy.

 

4.2 You must report any accidents to us and the police within 24 hours. Failure to do so voids the insurance coverage. 

 

4.3 You are responsible for paying all congestion, traffic, parking and toll violations, fines and fees incurred during the rental period. 

 

  1. Payment & Cancellation

 

5.1 All published rental rates and fees are subject to change. Your final charges will be stated in your rental agreement.

 

5.2 Early cancellation may incur fees. Cancellations within XX days of pickup forfeit any deposits paid.

 

5.3 Late returns will be charged additional rental fees. Returns with less than a full fuel tank will incur refueling charges. 

 

5.4 All payments must be made by credit card or debit card. Cash payment is not accepted. 

 

  1. Governing Law

 

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
